I've been inspired by friends who are involved with the charity to take on the LLHM and volunteer!

Last year I ran my first LLHM and although it was tough, as I wasn't a runner, I just had to make it round. This year to make it more of a challenge I am setting a time to try and complete it in. This is proving both physically and mentally challenging and at this stage I don't know if it is achievable, but I know I will push as hard as I can on the day.

Then in the summer I will be heading out to Romania to volunteer at the Brasov Holiday Club. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with some of the children and families I am fundraising for. It is also the first time I will be travelling and staying away from my young family, but I believe helping this way not only means a lot to me, but it is also important for my children to see what a privilege it is to be able to help.

Check out what the Brasov Holiday Club got up to last year:

Hospices of Hope is the leading hospice care charity in South East Europe, dedicated to improving the life of terminally ill patients in Romania and surrounding countries. In the countries where they work the vast majority of people with terminal or life-limiting illness do not receive proper care at the end of their lives. They are left to die without their pain and symptoms being treated and without any emotional or spiritual support.

Any donations that you can make would be greatly appreciated!!
