Date: 26.08.22 | Time: 18:00 | Location: Kings Church, Aberdeen, AB23 8BL

Join us from 6:00pm for an exclusive Aberdeen screening of 'The Wishing Tree' - the first Romanian charity film ever made.

Recently shown in cinemas in Romania, and soon to be available on Romanian Netflix, the film is produced in benefit of Hospice Casa Sperantei (our country partner in Romania) and partially filmed at our Copaceni children's centre, just outside of Bucharest.

There are no plans for it to be released in the UK so this is an exclusive opportunity to watch the acclaimed film. (English subtitles are provided)

Enjoy refreshments on arrival, before the film starts at 6.30pm - there is the opportunity to purchase these from the cafe in the foyer area.

Mara, a 12 year old who is very ill, embarks on a fantastic adventure filled with hope. She discovers a magical tree located near a palliative care centre that is a portal to her favorite story: the book of Ion Creanga, "Childhood Memories".
