Hospices of Hope is a Christian based charity that welcomes prayerful and practical support from churches and church groups

We care for people of all faiths or none, inspired by God’s love for us and for the sick and vulnerable.

Spiritual care was an indispensable part of the Hospice movement’s vision led by its founder, Dame Cicely Saunders. We are committed to continue implementing this concept in our network of hospices and meeting the spiritual needs of our patients.

Here are some ways your church can help hospice care in south east Europe:

  • Include Hospices of Hope in your weekly or monthly prayer rotation

We publish prayer letters three times a year. Sign up for our prayer letter

  • Choose us as your charity/mission partner

Pledge to raise funds or donate surplus funds to us

  • Speak to us about our summer trips

Find out how you can support our voluntary trips - available for age 16 upwards. Check out our summer trips

  • Donate to us through your seasonal collection

Remember Hospices of Hope in your seasonal giving

  • Host a collection box at your church

Contact us to arrange to host a collection box

  • Invite us to attend a service, event or home group

Whether its virtually or in person, why not request a talk with us

  • Hold a coffee morning

It's a great way for members to socialise after your church service

  • Host a book sale

Collect donated books from your congregation and hold a fundraising sale

We have plenty of ideas, suggestions and materials to help you start your fundraising activities. Download our fundraising toolkit!

It's been great to see churches getting involved in fundraising...

Members of Avenue Baptist Church, Beckenham raised funds for us through a number of different fundraising events held during the year. This included cooking and serving a wonderful supper for other members of the Church, as well as a toy, book and cake sale.
