Church You visited me A bright banner hangs in our hospice in Brasov. It quotes Jesus: “I was sick and you visited me. Mt 25:36” In Christ, we want patients to find enduring hope beyond death as well as quality and dignity of life before death. Spiritual co-ordinators We are a Christian organisation and care for people of all faiths, or none, encouraged by God’s love for us and for his people. In Romania and Serbia we have spiritual care coordinators and volunteer chaplains. Our spiritual care policy includes spiritual awareness and support for patients, their carers and our staff and volunteers. Prayer Letter We are grateful for your support through prayer and we publish prayer letters three times a year. Subscribe here! The Church asked us to talk about our work at a Sunday morning service and displayed information about our work in the Church. Emmanuel donated proceeds from its summer fete in July and its Christmas Day service offering. Members of Avenue Baptist Church, Beckenham raised funds for us through a number of different fundraising events held during the year. This included cooking and serving a wonderful supper for other members of the Church, as well as a toy, book and cake sale.
