Executive Director (Trading Company)

It is hard now to think of a time before Hospices of Hope.  My background before marrying and having a family was working in Solicitors firms in the City.  I had also always been passionate about volunteering and had given time over the years to befriending across many walks of life among other things as well as fund raising. I guess it was no wonder that after my husband , Graham founded the Ellenor Foundation and subsequently Hospices of Hope, I became the first volunteer co-coordinator and took this work forward into the trading arm of the charity. I love to see our staff, both paid and unpaid fulfilled in their daily tasks ,knowing that their contribution really does help.

There are so many thoughts and memories, it was a real privilege to see Prince Charles visit our work recently and also I will never forget the bold Rainbow that stayed with us the day the Education Centre opened in Brasov! Above all the appreciation of our patients and families, the smile or the squeeze of a hand is what reaches deep down and really counts.

I hope to continue to make a difference in many ways into the future motivating many others to hold the light of Hospice too.
