The Bucharest Holiday Club provides a chance for our hospice children to be creative, have lots of fun and learn new things in a comfortable and safe environment. It also gives their parents a time to relax and receive some much needed respite care. This is a residential trip for approximately 20 children with rare or life-limiting illnesses (we also invite their parents and siblings to join us to help with their medical care). Volunteers during the trip will be based at Copaceni, our children's centre near Bucharest. The week includes sports, games, crafts, UK entertainment and evening activities (bonfire, party, film night, talent show etc). Minimum age 16.

Friday 26th June to Saturday 4th July 2020

We ask each UK volunteer to raise a minimum of £750 (£850 if booked after 29th February 2020) to take part in this trip. This money will cover your:

  • Air Fares (from London)
  • Transfers to and from the airport in Romania
  • Accommodation
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Holiday Club
  • Disclosure and barring service check

We also ask volunteers to contribute craft materials for the activities during the week.
