Monday devotion was led by Costi Keenan who started by putting on a song for us called Jesus I need you:

The song is about crying out for God however many times we need Him! The words "do not be afraid" are written in the Bible 365 times and there is a reason for that. Whenever we have a difficult problem or we are in a desperate situation we must call out to God as he is there for us. He wants us to call up to him. God is all knowing and all powerful and he is ready to help us.

There is a purpose in everything that we have: we have family, we have friends- we are not alone in our life and for us to get the strength - we need to ask for help. God is a God of peace and compassion and we need the strength so we can do what we are meant to do. Cry out to God whenever you need help and take comfort as you are not alone.

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

“All who rage against you
    will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
    will be as nothing and perish.
 Though you search for your enemies,
    you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
    will be as nothing at all.
 For I am the Lord your God
    who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
    I will help you.                                                Isaiah 41:10-13
