“I have noticed a lot of changes in
Romania since my last visit to the hospice. Listening to the patients it is
clear that people still face many hardships and problems. I was
particularly moved by a young mother………..she told me she had cried tears of
joy when the hospice agreed to help her son, and her life had now become
much more bearable…….. We discovered in conversation that she didn’t even
possess a push chair and had to carry him everywhere in her arms. One is
now being sent from England.”
