Who we help

The need for palliative care for patients with malignant disease in South East Europe is immense. Deaths from cancer and other terminal illnesses number approximately 41,000 per annum in Romania. In neighboring Serbia cancer claims 20,000 lives. In Moldova there are a further 6,000 deaths. These people need help.  We have helped over 17,500 patients and their families since 1992.
