We are always looking for new and innovative ways to raise money to fund the work we are doing. This is a list of our current Appeals and Events. Please contact us if you have other ideas that you think may help us.
Scottish Golf Day, 6th May 2008
What:
Join
us for an afternoon shotgun start; 2 and 4 ball competitions – Team and
Individual Stableford, Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. Interesting prizes,
supper and guest speaker George McNeill.

Alina Cojocaru Gala Performance, 7th May 2008
What: Alina
Cojocaru, principal dancer with the Royal Ballet, and her partner Johan Kobborg
have agreed to perform in a one-off gala event in support of Hospices of Hope.
Alina
recognises the tremendous contribution the charity makes towards improving the
care of her fellow Romanians and this is her special way of supporting Hospices
of Hope in our work. Alina will also be joined by Marian Walter from the Berlin
State Ballet, Yuhui Choe of The Royal Ballet and other dancers.
The evening will include the world premiere of a piece by Kim Brandstrup;
Tim Rushton’s celebrated choreography of “Afternoon of a Faun; Other Dances by
Robbins and classic highlights.
Music will be provided by Manning Camerata, conducted by Daniel Capps.

Edinburgh Marathon 25th May 2008
Jubilo in Concert, Saturday 7th June 2008 What:
Jubilo
is an award-winning Edinburgh Choir of some 60 voices which has established a
reputation for performances of high quality over the twenty five years it has
been in existence. The Choir will
present an eclectic programme of choral items to suit all tastes under their
conductor Walter Thomson. The
programme will include sacred anthems, spirituals, folksongs and choral
arrangements of popular songs. In
addition, Allan Crocker, Classical Guitarist, will provide some instrumental
items. Come and enjoy an evening of
glorious singing and support a very worthwhile cause. Where:
